ABOUT OUR SENIOR PHYSIO

KATY SHORT

Katy graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2013 with a 1st class (BSc Hons) Physiotherapy degree.

 

She is a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council. Katy has extensive experience in private practice, and has worked with two ex-professional football Physiotherapists over a four year period.

 

Katy has completed several post graduate courses, including an M level Acupuncture Foundation Course. Katy has also worked as a Physiotherapist for the Ministry of Defence, and completed Junior Physiotherapy rotations in an NHS hospital setting. Collectively, she has a wide range of experience in Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Medical and Sports Physiotherapy management. Katy particularly enjoys treating tension headaches and neck / back pain.

Katy regularly participates in sport, and has a ten year history of competitive swimming. She has medalled at Eastern Region swimming championships and at international open meets in Germany. She also represented her University at the BUCS National Swimming Championships. Katy can therefore understand and empathise with patients from a sporting background, and help them to return to full fitness as soon as possible.

Helen Davison

Helen is a highly experienced friendly Physiotherapist who qualified from Coventry University in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.

 

She initially worked in a private Physiotherapy practice in Bishop’s Stortford, before joining a leading national Physiotherapy provider in 2012. This role has seen Helen work in a variety of settings across Essex and North London. During her professional life, Helen has worked across many different referral streams including medico-legal, occupational health and AQP, where she treated patients with a wide variety of spinal and peripheral injuries.

 

Helen has a specialist interest in chronic pain conditions, such as Fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and auto-immune conditions. She tailors her approach according to each individual’s needs, and treats holistically to ensure the best outcome for her patients. Helen has undertaken various post graduate courses to continuously further her knowledge, and she is qualified to perform acupuncture.   

 

Aside from her activity as a Physiotherapist, Helen enjoys writing blogs on a variety of wellness topics. She has previously travelled to Australia and New Zealand and shared her experiences through the blog.

ABOUT OUR SENIOR PHYSIO

Anne Lilly

Anne graduated from St George’s University Hospital of London with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She also holds a Level 3 Sports Massage Diploma from the London School of Osteopathy, and is qualified to perform Acupuncture.

Anne has gained experience in various Physiotherapy settings prior to joining Choice Physio and she strives to continue to develop her professional knowledge and research still further.  Anne enjoys treating a wide range of conditions, including: joint / muscular pain, back / neck pain, chronic conditions, auto-immune conditions and hypermobility, hand therapy and treating / rehabbing people post operatively.

Anne was previously a part of the Archery GB Talent Academy, competing nationally in archery across the country. Her sporting experience gives her insight into the treatment needs of amateur and professional athletes, and the importance of Physiotherapy in injury prevention.

In her leisure time, Anne enjoys going to the gym, videogames, martial arts, and is working back up to competing nationally again in Archery.

Annabel moeser

Annabel is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Lecturer and APPI trained Pilates instructor, having completed an undergraduate Sports Therapy degree with the University of Hertfordshire in 2012 and a Physiotherapy Masters with St Mary’s University in 2022. Annabel has extensive experience in private practice and has been an integral part of the sports therapy lecturing staff at both the University of Hertfordshire and University of Bedfordshire. Annabel has always been involved in sport, competing at a high level of swimming at a young age. She enjoys working with sporting injuries and rehabbing back to full strength as well as considering the holistic approach to injury. 

 

Annabel has a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and has experience in working both privately and within NHS pelvic health teams in Essex and Hertfordshire. She holds additional qualifications in pregnancy massage and ante and postnatal Pilates to compliment her practice.

 

Annabel loves an adventure and challenging herself including at high-altitude, trekking to both Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp for charity. She's not sure what's next in store but is looking forward to the challenge.

ABOUT OUR SENIOR PHYSIO

Fiona Fuller

Fiona graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first-class BSc Hons in Physiotherapy, she has a level 3 qualification in sports massage and has continued to expand her knowledge with post-graduate courses such as

dry needling and strength and conditioning coaching. Fiona is committed to ongoing learning and expanding her knowledge as a physiotherapist to ensure she can deliver the highest quality of care. She is a member of both the Health Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. 

  

After graduation, Fiona transitioned to private practice, where she has gained extensive experience working with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. She has also spent two seasons working with the rugby team of the Royal Engineers, enhancing her expertise in sports-related physiotherapy. 

  

One of Fiona's passions in physiotherapy is working with elderly individuals, understanding the significance of maintaining mobility levels and enabling participation in activities of daily life. 

  

Fiona also has a personal interest in several sports and in strength and conditioning. Her journey in sports started at an early age and eventually led her to a high level of competition in netball, today, she remains an avid CrossFitter.  

Professionally, Fiona is dedicated to helping those in pain continue to move and train around their injuries until they achieve full fitness. 

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE MANAGER

GEOFF SHORT

Geoff manages several aspects of the practice and works closely with our Physiotherapists. Geoff has gained extensive management experience through working previously as a business development manager and sales director for a UK manufacturer. Geoff works hard to continually develop the practice, to ensure a high quality service is provided with the best quality treatment. 

 

Outside of work, Geoff enjoys keeping active and going on holidays! Geoff swam competitively for many years in the UK and Australia, winning State and National titles.
