HOW WE ARE PROTECTING YOU DURING the COVID-19 PANDEMIC

We take our client’s safety very seriously and due to this, since the outbreak of COVID 19 we have implemented new changes in our clinic to make sure everyone is kept as safe as possible.

  • Before we book you for your session we will ask you if you are suffering from a number of COVID related symptoms over the phone. It is important you answer these honestly. We will also send you out an online questionnaire with further detailed screening questions to make sure you are safe within your treatment session.

  • We advise that anyone in the shielding group does not attend clinic due to the nature of physiotherapy we are unable to socially distance ourselves from our clients.

  • We can offer anyone who is shielding or anyone who would be more comfortable not coming into clinic a video consultation or a phone assessment.

  • We kindly ask you wear a face covering to clinic. If you do not have a face covering this is fine we are supplying masks which will cost £1 (subject to change).

  • We are taking all clients temperatures before the enter the treatment rooms. A temperature below 37.8 is acceptable, if you are showing higher than this we will ask you return home and follow isolation rules. There is also hand gel for all clients to use.

  • In reception we have perspex screens between the front desk and Geoff

  • Our Physiotherapists will be wearing full medical grade PPE including gloves, aprons and facemarks.

  • All surfaces are thoroughly disinfected after each client

  • At the time of writing this (16/06/2020) Our current guidelines state we are able to see anyone who is suffering with pain which is not improving with self management or the pain is increasing to the point you would need to seek GP or A+E advice.

  • We kindly ask if you become symptomatic with COVID-19 please isolate and we will do everything in our power to call you for an assessment and we will honour you a session as soon as your 7 days of isolation (or 14 days if you are a family member) is over.

Please call us if you are suffering with pain which is progressively getting worse or is not resolving and we will do our very best to help you. 01279 882518
